Is the Chamber part of local government?
No, the Chamber is not a part of village government, but does work closely with our three municipalities to communicate important business and community news and information to our local businesses.
How many members does the Chamber currently have?
The DBR Chamber of Commerce has over 400 members from almost every business category and we are growing everyday.
Do I need to be located in Deerfield Bannockburn or Riverwoods to join?
Any business regardless of their location is eligible for membership.
When are your "meetings"?
The Chamber hosts over 80 events each year with five regular meetings per month, including two networking breakfasts, a professional women's luncheon, technology networking and a Business After Hours. The Chamber also hosts a bi-monthly Lake County Young Professionals event, three expos, a holiday celebration, golf outing, and many, many joint events with neighboring Chambers of Commerce.
What advertising and marketing opportunities are available?
Chamber members may advertise in a variety of electronic and print media vehicles including our monthly newsletter The Docket, a twice monthly Eblast, annual community guide, and street map.
How much does it cost to join?
Membership dues investment is calculated by the number of full time employees. Many members prefer to join as a Platinum member and receive a menu of additional benefits for an extra charge. Please see the Investment Dues Schedule for more information.
